One or the Other

So I'm stuck on the Against the Burning Eye. I think part of the problem is it's very samey. There are already at least three monster hunting groups in WitchCraft and I can't really think of an angle that makes the Watchmen particularly unique.

Fortunately, I did just think of something else entirely, so that's okay.

Also, I've just put Doctor Who and the Daleks, with Peter Cushing, in the DVD player. Did they steal the opening soundtrack from a James Bond flick?

P.S. I like Tardis' cobbled-together look, but it needs more kinetic movement to it. As is, it's just a bunch of stuff piled up.

The Argosians in particular would have to worry about the dangers of Taint.

Like this: the Burning Eye has a fascination with fire. Many famous fires over the years were caused by Balor, starting at least with the Great Fire of London.

Material

I couldn't find my old notes on Against the Burning Eye on RPG.net. I guess they limit the PBP forum to retain a month of posts. Oh well, I shall rebuild better than before. I've even got an outline going in Google Docs.

Watch me. Here I go now.

Against the Burning Eye was a campaign premise I had for WitchCraft. This one even got into character generation before I got stressed out by a munchkin-cop and other stuff. PCs were chaptermen/people/things in a secret order dedicated to fighting one of the Mad Gods that strive to break into the universe. This one was dubbed Balor because its extrusions into reality usually took the form of a fiery, unblinking eye.
