A ship limps into port. The remains of the crew discover, to their shock, that with the death of the captain, who had borrowed heavily to finance his own ship, the debt has defaulted to them. Wacky money-making hijinks ensue.

Against the Burning Eye was a campaign premise I had for WitchCraft. This one even got into character generation before I got stressed out by a munchkin-cop and other stuff. PCs were chaptermen/people/things in a secret order dedicated to fighting one of the Mad Gods that strive to break into the universe. This one was dubbed Balor because its extrusions into reality usually took the form of a fiery, unblinking eye.

Succor

It's a Doctor Who marathon on Skiffy. That's a good thing -- only they're showing just the second half of The Impossible Satan Planet Pit. Easily my favorite of the season.

Two's mix of whimsy and gravitude (word?) would play really well with Uncle Jonathan and Mrs Zimmermann.

This blog feed I subscribed to a couple weeks ago, Lifehacker, has some very neat suggestions for making computer use more convenient and helpful. One thing I just did was use this random password generator to make more secure passwords for my important accounts. The characters are random, but I made up mnemonics sufficiently weird that I don't think I'll forget them.
